Welcome, I would like to thank you in taking an interest in our web site.
| Web Site Overview |
| There is no
general direction that this web site takes, its more of a mixture. Some
include feelings and others just general banter. This web site has being
made so we can keep in touch with what every person in our old friends group
is/has being doing. For security reasons information will be gathered by
myself and Lamby (Richard Lamb) and uploaded. Although this web site is
a way of connecting us, it is also a way in which you can give input. The
stories posted on the web site are a great read for those 5 minute breaks
here and there some of which still get me to this day. The mindless comments
on ones in which i have found by various sources and ones i generally like.
If you find a mindless comment and want it to be on the web site make sure
you contact me with it! Now that i have told you a bit about the web sites
foundations i will attempt on giving you a clear overview of it's features. Web site News: which explains what's happening with the web site after updates. Contacts: a way in which you can contact various members of the 96 group. Console News: being keen gamers it was a must to keep everyone informed about the latest gaming events. Forum: A message board where you can leave message and also where the group and chat about various things. External links: to give people quick references to well known web sites. Mindless Stories: a place in which anyone can post a story (by forwarding it to me) this story can be about anything and everything. These can also be posted anon. Site Stats: Where information about the current web sites status can be kept. User Feedback: As it says on the tin, none is needed to feed my ego! Next Event: From time to time, when events get planned they will be posted, so everyone knows what we are doing. Main Story: This is where a key story will be placed in the spot-light. Overall i feel this is a very unquie web site, and i would love to see more people doing this. As your group of friends grow older you will notice your group tends to split as people travell off in their own directions. Most people rely on websites such as Myspace and Bebo to stay connected. I feel that the internet is always going to help people stay in touch, but what about in 10-20 years time when Myspace has been sold to another company? Or your friends simply decide not to use it anymore. Been a static website, that is updated from a centeral location i should think this web site will stay for a long long time, thus allowing the group to stay in contact. All the other friends have to do is send input once a blue moon, and remember the Url. I hope this explains why i have gone to such lengths to construct this website. I hope others feel the same way, and get start up their own sites, i would love to link to some. Thank you for your time reader, Jason. |
